THE CHALLENGE
Lace Passport is a boutique travel brand specializing in luxury romance travel—from bespoke honeymoons to destination weddings. The founder came to Lyon Creatives with a clear mission and tagline (“Love travels well”) but no visual identity to support her vision. She needed a brand that captured the elegance, whimsy, and intimacy of her services—without falling into tired wedding clichés or overused travel icons.
THE APPROACH
To bring Lace Passport to life, we focused on storytelling through design—creating a brand identity that feels like a treasured memory in motion. After exploring multiple directions, we landed on “The Seaside Keepsake,” a logo concept that evokes both heirloom elegance and Mediterranean romance.
This logo is more than a mark—it’s a window into the world Lace Passport curates for its clients.
THE ICON
The outer shape of the icon was inspired by the top portion of a vintage suitcase with a handle, deconstructed and rearranged into a symmetrical emblem.
The overall silhouette also resembles a Mediterranean-style window-arched and decorative, often seen in sunlit villages overlooking the sea.
At the center sits a lace-inspired flower, delicate and symmetrical. This is the most literal connection to the brand name - “Lace” as a symbol of romance, elegance, and craftsmanship.
THE COLOR PALETTE
The Lace Passport color palette is a romantic blend of sun-washed tones inspired by Mediterranean landscapes, vintage keepsakes, and timeless love stories. Olive Horizon and Sage Seafoam ground the brand in nature and tradition, echoing the charm of olive groves and coastal stone paths. Blush Coral and Terracotta Bloom add warmth and femininity, reminiscent of seaside sunsets and blooming florals. Rose Dusk softens the palette with a nostalgic glow—like the fading light of a dreamy travel day. Together, these hues evoke elegance, wanderlust, and heartfelt connection—perfectly capturing the spirit of luxury romance travel.
THE RESULTS
The final brand identity gave Lace Passport a strong, elegant foundation that captures the dreamy spirit of romantic travel while feeling distinctly upscale. The visuals set the tone for future marketing materials, website design, and client experience. The client now has a polished brand system that reflects her business’s heart—and stands out in the competitive travel industry.
